A nostalgic cinema experience. All down to the size of the foyer and young staff ID checking young attendees. The waft of popcorn through out. Sit were you want approach. Screen 1 is a great size with loads of leg room and large seats and a complete with original theatre decor and design. If you want trip down memory lane check it out.
Not from around the area and being used to big cinema chains, it was a pleasant surprise to only pay £2.50 for a ticket......... Yes you read that correctly TWO.POUNDS.AND.FIFTY.PENCE. Once inside it was brightly lit with either stairs or a lift for disabled customers to take them up to the foyer, where you can buy or collect your tickets and also purchase the usual array of drinks, popcorn, chocolate and other snacks and drinks. Screen 1 was easy to access via stairs leading up to a central area where you could either sit above or below the walkway. The seats were very comfortable, with enough legroom to be able to stretch my legs straight out. The environment was OK, it was fairly warm outside, but was a comfortable temperature for the duration of the film. The sound and picture quality were what you would expect from a visit to the cinema, and there were large rubbish receptacles in the room to encourage people to take their stuff with them and dispose of them quickly rather than having to take them outside the room and search around for a bin!! Overall a pleasant, and inexpensive trip to the cinema with my son on a teacher training day!

Beautiful place. Staff here are very friendly and helpful. To make it even better all staff are volubteers.
If you want an excellent, Relatively cheap night out then this place hosts some great acts. I've never seen a bad show and for around £20 a ticket you can't afford not to give it a go. If your in the area and there's something on that interests you, You will definitely not be disappointed. Staff are all very friendly and accommodating and I'm pretty sure most if not all work voluntary which is also a nice touch.

Was OK saw the stage from where I was seated. Not a very big theatre as theatres go. But works well enough.

The kids love it. They were welcomed and made to be part of the family.
